"Dinner in the Diner" features 300 recipes from historic railroad restaurants of America's era of great trains. This is a unique cookbook that will appeal to those who are nostalgic about rail travel and dining. The book also includes historic photographs of the trains, their dining cars and their staffs. There are also illustrated maps of the nineteen different railroad systems including the Santa Fe, Burlington, Great Northern, Canadian National, Southern Pacific. Both book are in very nice condition, illustrated paper dust jacket for "Dinner in the Diner" has slight tears, scuffing observed.
