Featured in this lot is this beautiful, late 19th century cinnamon colored Victorian dress. This dress shows a silk taffeta construction with sewn velvet strips and bottom velvet section. The dress features a slight flare towards the bottom while the velvet strips start in the back from the top, working their way down to the base. On the back of the dress appears to be a floral symbol, outlined in silk taffeta and filled in with velvet. The waist band features hook and loops to secure to dress and hook and loops up the front. The dress shows good condition overall with wear present from its age and use over the years, but no signs of major damage is noted. A few hook and loops are missing from the front. Slight fraying in some areas. The dress measures 13" wide at the top and approximately 67" wide at the bottom. It measures a length of 44 1/2" and weighs 2 pounds.
