Featured in this lot is this Western Cowboy Crockett bit and silver headstall circa 1950's. The bit and headstall feature a wonderfully and professionally crafted leather and silver mounted construction with an aluminum bit. the headstall shows a flat and round segment to the leather headstall with silver mounting to the rolled round segments and is marked 'P' on the cheek piece; and the bit is a short shank aluminum curb bit and are marked on the inside of the shank as follows: Crockett. The condition of this Crockett bit and headstall is preserved with some wear tot eh leather headstall and build up of residue to the curb bit but otherwise shows a preserved overall condition. The measurements of this headstall and bit is 20" x 6 3/8" x 1 3/4". The collective weight of this headstall and bit is 1lb 4oz.
