The lot features an exceptional set of men's fully beaded floral arm cuffs from the Flathead Native American Indians of Montana. The set originates from the late 19th Century and shows a fully early glass trade seed beaded florcal whimsical design with geometric border in chalk white, greasy yellow, medium green, red white hearts, cobalt, semi-transparent blue, sky padre blue, Cheyenne pink, orange, and more. The set shows an eaarly trade cloth and stroud construction with the original Indian tanned hide ties, a wonderful addition. The set shows some very slight bead loss, but overall is very well presevered. One of the finest sets of fully beaded gauntlet cuffs. The set has been professionally museum quality framed and displays very well (secured to a matting with thread that can easily and safely be removed). The 1800's set measures 14"x9" each without including the tie length. Frame measures 23 5/8"x19 5/8".
