For your consideration is this Folk Art marionette showing a hand carved and painted horse circa 1890-1910. The horse shows a hand carved design with lovely hand painted floral decorations to the saddle and the body of the horse itself. The marionette shows real horse hair included to create the mane and tail and shows a sturdy crossbar controller. The condition of this marionette is good with wear consistent with its 19th century age, there is some slight scuffs to the paint but is in good overall condition. The measurements of this 30" from cross bar to the bottom of the feet; 20 1/2" x 10".
