Available in this lot we have a Winchester revolver ball cartridge ammo box originating from the late 1800's to early 1900's. The piece shows wooden construction with threaded metal rods in each side with thumb screw nuts across the top pf the lid. The piece is marked across the front and back reading "1200 Revolver Ball Cartridges Cal .45 model of 1911 in clips for double action revolvers, cal .45 model 1911 bulleye powder M.V. 800+25 F.S. Lot No. Manufactured by the Winchester Repeating Arms Co. New Haven, Conn U.S.A.". The sides of the crate show a revolver silhouette and is marked "Revolver Ball Cartridges Cal .45 Model 1911 - in clips". The top of the box is marked with faded illegible writing. This is a wonderful piece and would make a fine addition to any collection. The box shows fair condition overall with wear due to age and some signed of repair. The ammo box measures 17 1/4" long by 8 3/4" wide and 8 3/4" tall.
