Hassrick (1988) and "Remington & Russell and the Art of the American West" by Kate F. Jennings (1993). These books feature the history, life and artwork of Frederick Remington. Frederic Remington (1861–1909) was a prolific American painter, illustrator, and sculptor who defined the visual narrative of the "Old West" through 3,000+ artworks. Though based in the East, his vivid, action-packed scenes of cowboys, soldiers, and Native Americans captured a vanishing frontier. Famous for "The Broncho Buster" and nocturne paintings, he began as an illustrator before shifting to fine art. The books are profusely illustrated with illustrations, black & white photos and full color photos. They show good condition overall with little wear present and no signs of damage noted.
