Featured in this lot is this freeform ruby and VS2 diamond platinum ring with AIG paperwork. The ring features a wonderfully and professionally crafted platinum construction that shows a 'Orianne' hallmark along with a 'PT950' platinum stamp next to the hallmark. The ring features a center stone of a bezel set oval mixed cut natural ruby that measures 4.80 x 4.00 x 2.56mm that shows clarity that is moderately included and is considered type II with medium dark moderately strong slightly purplish red color with a good cut grade, the ruby shows high temperature heat treatment and a total weight of 0.63 carats. The freeform decoration of the ring face shows a total of 92 prong and bezel set round brilliant cut diamonds that shows clarity of VS2 - SI2 and a coloration of F - H and a total diamond weight of 0.55 carats. The piece comes complete with AIG(American International Gemologists, a GIA certified lab AIG Appraisal Number#: 000721018010) report and appraisal confirming the above info and giving a total value of $5,290.00. The ring size is US 7.
