For sale in this lot we have a George Lawrence black leather holster. The George Lawrence Company of Portland, Oregon, a saddlery, harness and leather goods firm established in 1857 and incorporated in 1893. It was one of the largest makers of leather goods in the West. The holster is made of simple black leather that would likely have been used by a officer or police. The holster is marked "14 - The George Lawrence Company - Portland. Oregon, U.S.A. - MP - 6". The holster is in very good condition, with little signs of wear. The holster measures 12 1/2" long by 5 1/4" wide.
