For your consideration is a German Black Forest peddler clock c. 1800’s. This handsome clock shows a scale version of a clock peddler. This figurine is painted in blue and gold and features fine details to the face. The figure boasts a metal hat and walking cane. Located on the chest of the peddler is a wind up clock with finely detailed painting depicting a bird resting on a tree branch. The clock face is done in Roman Numerals with a fleur-de-lis in between each number. In his left hand are two pinecones attached to chains. The clock was tested and found working prior to being consigned. The piece measures approximately 5” x 7 7/8” x 15”.
