Featured in this lot we have a original German Wehrmacht LP-42 single shot flare gun. The LP-42, also called Leuchtpistol 42 is a 26.5mm single shot flare gun used by Nazi troops when it entered service in 1943. The flare gun is constructed out of steel with a zinc finish and wood grip. It features a 6" barrel, steel hammer, and is marked "eun" along with the serial number 113868 on its left side. No FFL required. The piece is in very good condition with some rust and wear. It measures 8 3/4" long by 7" high (including D ring) by 1/2" wide.
