Featured in this lot are five sterling & electroplate nickel silver Gorham pieces circa 1948-1950s. The first two pieces are identical salt and pepper shakers showing the Melrose design by Gorham. The two pieces are marked on the bottom reading, "Gorham Sterling / 1238". The third piece is a electroplate nickel silver on brass sugar bowl. It shows a handle on either side and a removable top. The bottom of the piece reads, "Gorham EP Brass" and shows an anchor symbol. The fourth piece is an electroplate nickel silver on brass creamer cup. It shows one large handle and a large spout for pouring cream, milk or other liquids. The bottom is marked reading, "Gorham EP Brass" along with an anchor mark. The fifth and final piece is an electroplate nickel silver on brass coffee/tea pot. It shows a large elegant handle and a latched top. The spout is long and skinny showing a simple, yet elegant design. The bottom is marked reading, "Gorham EP Brass" and shows a symbol of an anchor. The electroplate pieces were made circa 1950s according to the style of the box housing the anchor symbol. The pieces show good condition overall with some wear present on the items but no signs of major wear or damage is noted. The pieces measure from 1 3/4" L x 1 3/4" W x 4 1/2" H to 10" L x 4 1/2" W x 10" H. The five pieces have a collective weight of 4 pounds and 4 ounces.
