Featured in this lot is this diamond, 18k white gold ring with AIG paperwork. The ring features electronically tested and stamped 18k white gold construction with a 'HANA' hallmark and an '18k' stamped next to the hallmark. The center stone is a prong set marquise mixed cut natural ruby measuring 11.70mm x 5.68mm x 3.15mm and weighing approximately 1.69 carats; it shows heavily included clarity and is considered Type II with slightly brownish red coloration. The center stone was graded in the setting. The marquise center stone is decorated with a halo in the shape of the center stone, consisting of 22 prong set round brilliant cut pink diamonds with measurements of 1.40mm to 1.30mm x 0.81mm, a total weight of 0.20 carat, I-1 to I-2 clarity, and white to very faint pink coloration. These are very high value natural pink diamonds that cost $1850.00 per carat. The split pave shoulders are decorated with 24 prong set round brilliant cut diamonds measuring 1.65mm to 1.40mm x 0.95mm and showing an approximate total weight of 0.39 carats with SI-2 to I-1 clarity and a color gradient of F - H. The piece comes complete with AIG (American International Gemologists, a GIA certified lab AIG Appraisal Number#: 000720063026) report and appraisal, confirming the above info and giving a total value of $5,550.00. The ring size is US 6 1/4.
