For your consideration is this large, original hand-tinted map of Mammoth Mines Corporation mine locations in Madison County Montana circa early 1900s. This map shows Butte in the top left corner enclosed in a light red circle. In the bottom right side of the map, it shows old mine locations and names in yellow circles. The map also shows locations such as: Deer Lodge National Forest Reserve, the Jefferson River, Silver Star, Twin Bridges, Homestake and Whitehall to name a few. The map is hand-tinted and shows colors of red, yellow, blue, green and orange. The top of the map reads, "Map Showing Location of Mammoth Mines Corporation Properties Madison Co. Mont." in black and yellow lettering. On the top right it reads, "Earl R. Pulver President". The map sits in a large black, wooden frame and is set behind glass. The map shows good condition with only slight wear to the edges of the map and no signs of obvious damage. The frame shows fair condition with scuffs and wear from use and the map sits loosely in the frame. The piece measures 41" L x 30 5/8" W.
