Featured in this lot is this Handarbeta Swedish copper jam pot and two copper ladles circa 19th century. The jam pot features a wonderfully and professionally crafted copper and forged iron construction that shows three iron legs and a copper main basin; the bottom of the pot is marked as follows: Handarbeta - M.T. Vasteras - Made in Sweden. The three ladles are constructed from copper and forged iron one with a deep bowl and the other a little flatter. The condition of this copper jam pot and ladles is well preserved with one of the ladles showing damage to the bowl and all three pieces show patina consistent with age and oxidation to the forged iron legs of the jam pot and ladle handles but otherwise shows a well preserved condition. The measurements of the jam pot is 6 7/8" x 14 1/4" x 7 1/4", the first ladle measures 19 1/8" x 4 1/2" x 1 3/4", and the second ladle measures 21 3/8" x 4 7/8" x 4 5/8". The collective weight of this jam pot and pair of ladles is 3lb 2oz.
