Included in this lot we have a pair of handcrafted incolay stone jewelry boxes originating from the early to mid 20th century. The pair consist of one large and one smaller stone jewelry boxes. The first of the incolay boxes features the embossed image of two ships at sea across the top with a chain border around the edge. the sides show embossed carvings of small sailing ships and lighthouses repeating along the sides. The second box features the embossed image of three greek style women holding hands in a circle with branches and other designs across the top and bottom. The sides show embossed patterns of olive branches with a line of dots across the bottom. The pieces show a hinged top with a black velvet bottomed interior and stone partitions in the larger one. The jewelry boxes show a sticker reading "Genuine Incolay Stone Handcrafted U.S.A." in gold color lettering set onto the underside of the lid. The boxes show good condition overall, but could use some cleaning. The large jewelry box measures 12 1/4" wide by 7 1/2" long and 2 3/4" tall with the second measuring 4 3/4" wide by 4 1/4" long and 2 1/4 at its tallest.
