Offered in this lot we have a pair of handcrafted incolay stone jewelry boxes originating from the early to mid 20th century. The pair consist of one large and one smaller stone jewelry boxes. The first of the incolay boxes features the embossed image of big horn sheep with mountains in the background. The sides show embossed carvings of landscape scenes showing herds of deer or big horn sheep. The second box features the embossed image of birds sitting on the edges of a bowl with floral patterns across the top of the piece. The sides show embossed floral leave patterns. The pieces show a hinged top with a black velvet bottomed interior and stone partitions in the larger one. The jewelry boxes show a sticker reading "Genuine Incolay Stone Handcrafted U.S.A." in gold color lettering set onto the underside of the lid. The boxes show good condition overall, but could use some cleaning. The large box measures 7 1/2" wide by 6 1/2" long and 2 1/4" tall with the second jewelry box measures 4 1/2" wide by 4" long and 2 1/2" tall.
