Featured in this lot is a Chicago, Milwaukee, & St. Paul Rail Road kerosene lantern. The lantern was manufactured by Handlan, out of St. Louis, Missouri in the 1920's. The lamp is constructed of stamped steel, and features a glass globe, with raised lettering. The ventilator of the lantern and the globe are marked "C. M & St. P. Ry", additionally, the burner knob, and the bottom of the lamp are labeled "Handlan - St. Louis". The bottom is additionally marked with patent dates. Overall, the lantern is in good condition for age, showing only a small chip in the bottom of the globe. The lantern measures 15 3/8" tall, and 7 1/8" wide, and deep.
