For your consideration is a Harley Davidson knucklehead carburetor. This is a Mod M 2-418, M74B with 1 1/2" thread. This piece is manufactured by L&L Manufacturing Co., and made in Indianapolis USA. The float bowl has been chromed and the chrome on the bowl is starting to flake, and the casting has a nice patina with no structural issues. The casting on the carburetor indicates "1 1/2 Mod M 2-418" and "M-74 B" The collectors tag indicates "possibly 1955?" This piece measures approximately 5 1/8" tall by 6" wide to end of float bowl bolt.
