For your consideration is this original watch repair case and pen from Hartman's Jewelry (Hartman & Company) in Tombstone, Arizona from the 1880s. The Hartman's owned and ran a well known jewelry store in Tombstone, Arizona Territory in the early / late 1880s. Selling various items, the store also did watch repairs. This original watch repair case is constructed from metal and appears to be a small travel case. When opened, it shows three compartments, one on the left and right hand side and a skinnier one in the middle. The middle features a metal plate that slides into grooves and has a handle on the top for easy carrying. The case features various tools and parts such as, hand dials, springs, files, small screw drivers and gears. The pen was manufactured by an English pen making company but has the same name as a prominent American pen making company. It is marked "Spencerian Pen Co. Ladies No. 4 / England". It features a beautiful mother of pearl handle and a pointed nib. It comes in its original light pink felt case. Both pieces show good condition overall with wear present from their age and use over the years, but no major signs of damage is noted. The watch repair case measures 6 1/2" L x 9 5/8" W x 1 1/2" H, while the pen case measures 7/8" L x 7 1/8" W x 1" H. They have a collective weight of 1 pound and 14 ounces.
