Offered in this lot for your consideration are two copper souvenirs from Helena Montana. The first is a rare copper Basketball necklace charm that says "1942 Champions". In 1942, Ed Simonich directed the Saints to a 15-2 overall record, and 13-2 in conference play, for the school’s first Montana Carroll College basketball championship. Charms like this are rare in that like super bowl rings they are only given to team members and important staff. The basketball measures almost 3/4" across. The next item is a copper napkin ring with an emblem of the "State Capitol Helena Montana" on it. The ring measures 1 1/4" long by 1 3/4 wide by 1 1/4" tall. The capitol building was finished in Helena Montana in 1902. Both of these items are in good condition, but rare unique finds for the MOntana collectior
