This sculpture is of an angel in classic Helenistic style, and is a replica of a celebrated statue created at around 2nd century BC. The image is of an angle poised to flight classically missing its head and arms but displaying powerful wings. The inscription at the bottom of the sculpture is 09155 and A.M.R.
