For your bidding pleasure is this duck or mallard hunt scene circa 1897 Chromolithograph from Henri Le Roy (c. 1851-Unknown). This piece is an exquisite representation of two waterfowl hanging from a nail in the wall after the days hunt. This piece shows ducks pre- plucked with proper shadows shown upon the wall. Each duck has unique coloring with the for front duck with green feathering to its head and yellow coloring with green striped feathering to the face of the later waterfowl. The frame is in good condition and has a very skillfully carved pattern on the frame border just outside the glass of the picture. The measurements of this picture are 30 1/4" x 26 3/8". Henri and Anita Leroy were fine original artist with their Chromolithography becoming collectible. The piece is displayed in a fine period correct gilt gold wood frame with wonderful carving.
