For your bidding pleasure is this wonderful hunt scene Chromolithograph by Henri Le Roy circa 1897 (c. 1851-Unknown). This piece is in good condition showing a post head hare and two doves hanging on a nail on the wall. The piece shows their proper shadows against a cream and green colored wall. The hare has a lighter brown top coat and a white under belly. The doves are different colored while one is a lighter almost purple or magenta color, the other is a darker purple and coal blue. This print has Henri Le Roy's signature in the bottom left hand corner and is featured in a nice hand carved frame showing a leafy floral pattern. The measurements of this print are 27 3/4" x 22 3/4". Henri and Anita Leroy were fine original artist with their Chromolithography becoming collectible. The piece is displayed in a fine period correct gilt gold wood frame with wonderful carving.
