Featured in this lot we have a Herbert Schmidt/ EIG Model E-15 single action revolver chambered in .22 long rifle. The revolver displays a 4 3/4" long round barrel, six shot cylinder, hardwood grips, under barrel hand ejector, and single action design. The pistol shows its original finish and comes with a leather holster. The barrel is marked across the left side reading "CAL. 22 L.R." with the underside of the barrel marked reading "GERMANY" with the serial number and the butt of the grips marked "EIG MODEL E 15 GERMANY". The left side of the frame has faint proof marks and dated with a 65 proof mark. Mechanically the revolver shows a smooth action, working trigger, and proper timing on the cylinder. The revolver shows fair condition overall with wear across the piece due to handling and use. The pistol comes with a leather holster and ammo belt with floral tooled designs on the holster.
