Offered in this lot we have a Signed Original Jennifer Bowman Acrylic on Canvas painting titled, "Heron Head". A third generation artist, Jennifer Bowman is an accomplished award winning Pacific Northwest artist based in Anacortes, Washington who has been exhibiting and competing professionally for over 20 years. She has shown throughout the Puget Sound region, Arizona, California, and Mexico. Her work can be found in both private and corporate collections locally to international collections including France and the Netherlands. and winner of the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival Poster Artist, and has her work displayed across the US. She is a painter and art teacher and is best known for her nature scenes. This original painting is an acrylic on canvas and shows the image of a heron, a bird found throughout the rich farmland and flood plains of Skagit Valley which lies in the northwestern corner of the state of Washington. Historic waterfront communities, berry farms, wildlife and tulip fields exploding with color showcase the lower Skagit Valley. The painting shows wonderful, vibrant colors and a excellent art style. The piece is signed in the bottom left hand corner reading "Jennifer Bowman". The painting is mounted on a wood stretcher, shows very good condition with no wear. The canvas measures 36"W x 24" H.
