For your consideration are two Herter's carved decoys; a Harlequin and Bufflehead drake. Both decoys show a wonderful original paint job with great detail to coloration and feathers. Both decoys are dated to 1893. The decoys have a green felt bottom which covers the Herter's logo on the Bufflehead but can still be seen as an impression.
