Included in this lot we have a pair of historic rifle information and identification guide books originating from the late 1900's. The first of the books is a special edition copy of "Rifles" by Walter H. B. Smith Volume II. This book was privately printed for The Firearms Classic Library and published by Palladium Press and for The National Rifle Association by Odysseus Editions, Inc. The piece details the function and general information on rifles throughout the year. The second book "45/70 Trapdoor Springfields Dixie Collection" by Tuner Kirkland and published in 1975 by Curley Printing Co. located in Nashville, Tennesse. The collection shows good condition overall with some light wear across the pieces. The first book measures 9 1/4" tall by 6 1/4" wide with the second measuring 9 1/4" tall by 6 1/2" wide.
