Featured in this lot is this is this bronze called "Golden Descent," by Montana artist Dave Hodges born in 1949 and circa 1991. This bronze sculpture features a bald eagle on a branch and is mounted on a hardwood shield with a plaque that reads as follows: "Golden Descent" by Dave Hodges. The bronze is inscribed with 90/100 - 1991 - Hodges and shows the artist hallmark next to the copyright symbol. Dave Hodges, a Big Timber Montana artist, graduated from MSU in 1979. In 1982, he began his professional career as a bronze sculptor and continues successfully in that field to this time. The condition of this bronze is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this bronze is 6 1/4" x 5 1/8" x 3 1/2".
