This is an original Bucky Blades hand forged knife made by Eric “Bucky” Hasty of Bozeman, Montana. The knife is forged from 1095 high carbon steel with a blacksmith finish hammered spine and is forge stamped “BB” for Bucky Blades. The hidden tang knife features a large Montana Rocky Mountain Elk Antler horn handle which is shown in one solid piece held to the tang with a brass pin and is further accented with a solid brass finger guard having a leather stacked finger well that is finished with an inlaid band of bright blue and black matrix Turquoise (block). The knife is paired with a heavy saddle leather handmade sheath with a silver and turquoise concho at the center, brass pin construction, double stitched leather and leather fringes with brass beads. “Bucky Blades” are made by Eric “Bucky” Hasty a 2nd generation bladesmith from Bozeman, Montana. Each knife is hand forged from 1095 high carbon steel here in Montana and has a unique one-of-a-kind handle and sheath. The blade has a nice edge and a nice patina finish. This is a brand-new blade from Bucky himself. Knife measures 10.75”L with a 5.5”L blade that is 1” at its widest. The handle is 1.75”W by 1 3/8”W at the pommel end. The sheath and knife together are 11 5/8”L by 3”W without the approx. 4”L fringes.
