Featured in this lot is this Hopi "Yucca Sifter" basket collection, circa 1940's. There are four baskets in collection. The first is a beautiful, slightly smaller sifter basket with bear grass and pine needle construction. The second is a slightly larger sifter constructed by woven bear grass and pine needle. The third and fourth baskets are identical with thinly woven wicker and a sifter style of weave. The condition of this collection is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of these baskets range from 5/8" x 5 1/4" x 5 1/8” to 1/8" x 7 1/8 x 7 1/8".
