This is an early Hopkins & Allen Arms Co. Norwich CT. U.S.A. Model X.L. Double Action revolver. The revolver shows a serial number of 8813 and was manufactured from circa 1898 to 1916. The pistol shows a 2 1/4 inch full octagon barrel and is chambered in .32 Smith & Wesson caliber. The handgun has a nickel factory finish showing near mint condition with some spotting and signs of use with very good condition factory hard rubber checkered grips. Working without flaw in both single and double action would descript the functional condition of this firearm accurately as it is a shooter.
