The lot features a Smith & Wesson Model Number 1 Third Issue variation chambered in .22 RF (rimfire). The revolvers shows a serial number of 130813 and was manufactured from circa 1861 to 1881. The revolvers shows deluxe Rosewood hardwood grips with a silver screw set, nickel factory finish in 50%-60%+ condition, and a 3 1/4 inch round barrel with full solid top rib. The barrel is marked on the top, "SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS. PAT. APR. 3. 55 JULY 5. 59. DEC. 18. 60." The revolver shows a single action function that works without flaw having a checkered hammer with spur trigger. The pistol shows a tip-up function which is actuated by pulling up on the two arms on either side of the pistol located at the front base of the seven shot fluted cylinder.
