Featured in this lot we have a Hopkins & Allen model 1901 forehand safety hammerless revolver chambered in .32 caliber. The revolver displays a 3" long ribbed barrel, 5 shot cylinder, hard rubber grips, and safety hammerless design. The rib is marked across the top reading "FOREHAND MODEL 1901 HOPKINS & ALLENARMS CO. NORWICH. CT. U.S.A.". Mechanically the hammer shows a working double action trigger, well timed cylinder rotation, and worn firing pin spring causing some inconsistent pin reset. The top break action shows working condition along with the auto ejector. The pistol features matching serial numbers on the cylinder and bottom of the grip. The piece shows good condition overall for its age retaining much of its blue'd finish with wear due to age and use. The pistol weighs 12oz. Serial Number: 8828. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic firearm, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
