Available in this lot we have a limited edition print titled "Talking Robe" by Howard Terpning. Howard Terpning is one of the most desired and notable Western artist of the 21st century and is known for is impressive depictions of the Native American Indian culture. Terpning is also a member of the Cowboy Artist of America and has won 60 awards in his field. The print depicts a Native American warrior in his buffalo hide talking robe. Talking Robes were created to allow braves to paint and depict their war deeds, including important battles they fought, feats of bravery, horses captured, along with many others. The brave is shows with a blue shirt, beaded necklaces, and a buffalo hump hat. The print is signed across the bottom reading "Terpning 1994" on the left and "Terpning 306/1250" on the right. The 306/1250 indicates the print is number 306 of a limited edition printing. The piece is set into a wood frame with a off-white border around the painting. The print comes with documentation on the the original painting and information about the artist. The piece shows good condition overall and would make a fine edition to any western collection. The frame measures 27 3/4" wide by 34 1/2" tall with the art measuring 17 1/2"wide by 24 1/4" tall.
