This is a presumably contemporary medallion that shows an oval design with three-dimensional beaver marked on the front Hudson Bay Company and on the reverse Port Albany Fur House. The medallion shows a heavy bronze or brass solid casting and is strung on Indian tanned hide strand showing old wound glass hudson bay red white hearts with older Northwest Coast sand beads. The medallion measures 2 7/8"x2" and the necklace is 14" Long and 28"L overall strung.
