Available in this lot we have a collection of Hudson Bay Red White Heart Trade Bead Necklace. These Hudson Bay White Heart “Cornaline d'Aleppo” exotic trade beads dating to the 16th-17th Century. These 1600-1800’s beads are regularly referred to as “white hearts” due to the opaque white core at the “heart” or center of each bead that is finished with a red semi-translucent outer shell (showing the white partially through). These necklaces shows smaller in size with very rare shiny semi-transparent outer shell. The collection consists of three necklaces with tightly woven string strands, a later addition. There is as over 500 antique original Hudson Bay Fur Trading Company exotic glass trade beads. The measurements of the necklaces are 12 1/2" top knot to tip.
