Featured in this lot we have a collection of Hudson Bay Red White Heart Trade Bead Necklace. These Hudson Bay White Heart “Cornaline d'Aleppo” exotic trade beads dating to the 16th-17th Century. These 1600-1800’s beads are regularly referred to as “white hearts” due to the opaque white core at the “heart” or center of each bead that is finished with a red semi-translucent outer shell (showing the white partially through). These necklaces shows smaller in size with very rare shiny semi-transparent outer shell. The collection consists of three necklaces with natural woven fibers. There is as over 300 antique original Hudson Bay Fur Trading Company exotic glass trade beads. The measurements of each necklace are approximately 12 1/2" top knot to tip.
