Featured in this lot is this Ideal MFG Co. No. 5 powder measuring tool circa 19th century. The powder measuring tool features a cast iron body with a brass nozzle and and is marked Ideal MFG Co. - Middle-field Conn. USA - No. 5 and marked on the other side with the patent date Aug. 16, 1892 - Oct 1, '95 - Jul 18, '99. The condition of this powder measurer is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this powder measurer are 9 1/4" x 3" x 2 7/8".
