Featured in this lot is this Illinois Adena point blade, circa 3500 - 1300 B.P. and aged from the Late Archaic to Woodland period. The point shows a large, thin ovoid shaped blade with a flattened cross section, an excurvate shape that's broad, and a convex base. The point shows random flaking patterns from a white chert material. The condition of this point is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this Adena point are 4 1/2" x 1 5/8" x 1/4".
