For your consideration this lot includes Twenty-Three (23) Signed Limited Edition books of the "Indian Tribal Series" books (1972-1976), published by Indian Tribal Series, Phoenix, Arizona. Each is signed by the respective tribal leader with a photograph and brief biography of that leader. Tribes represented are the Apache (Coyotero), Chippewah (Minn.), Chitimacha, Choctah, Creek, Crow, Havasupai, Hopi, Kalispel, Kaw, Kenaitze, Kickapoo, Narragansett, Navajo, Oneida, Osage, Paiute, Papago, Ponca, Sioux, Southern Ute, Three Affiliated Tribes (Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara), and Yakima people. Each book has a number showing what copy it is. Each book specifically tells the history and culture of the respective Native American tribe. On the front cover of each of these books is embossed the respective tribal seal for that tribe. These books are a fantastic addition to any American Frontier or Native American Indian collection. The books are in very nice overall condition, slight scuffing noted to blue cloth soft cover silver gilt spine and cover edges, tight spines without separation, very slight age tanning exhibited, no foxing noted. Books have approximately 107 pages. Measurements are 5.75"W x 9.25"L x .25"D approximately.
