The painting shows a wonderfully detailed image of a Native American warrior holding a hide shield with hair and feather tassels and the image of a bird in flight emblazoned on the shield. The warrior is shown wearing a beaded shirt with numerous hair tassels with the beads in an array of color of red, green, white, sapphire, and light blue. The painting shows excellent detail in the face and clothing of the figure. The painting is signed in the bottom left hand corner, reading "S. Garcia". The painting is set into a nice dark wood frame with a canvas border. The frame measures 28" wide by 32" tall.
