Featured in this lot is this Inuit First Nation Inuvik Northwest Territory masks circa 2001. There are three masks in this collection. The first mask is by Tommy Smith out of Inuvik, Northwest Territory, Canada; the mask is made from Caribou skin and was made in 2001 for the Great Northern Arts Festival. The second mask is made from caribou hide and fur with blackened fur around the outside and a rough out texture to the face. The third is a caribou hide mask with a rough out face and caribou fur around the outside of the mask. The condition of these Inuit caribou masks is good with some marks to the hide but otherwise shows good overall condition. The measurements of this collection of masks range from 10 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 3 1/4" to 11 1/2" x 8" x 4". The collective weight of this mask is 4oz.
