The lot features a J. Russell & Co. Green River Works Buffalo Skinner knife with brass tacked leather sheath. The sheath is in the style of the Blackfoot (Blackfeet) Native American Indians. The sheath shows saddle harness leather construction with solid brass rivet tacks (total of 88) with a red painted strip (which is also on both sides). The knife shows the larger 6.25" long high carbon steel blade with hand filed diamond pattern and three copper rivet pins securing the grip scales to the full tang.
