The lot features an original hand carved ball-in-cage puzzle stick with quilled fringe from the Sioux Native American Indians and dating to the circa 1950-1960's. The piece shows a wonderful American Folk Art style puzzle stick or ball-in-cage cane with a wonderful carved Sioux Warrior's face at the top and a fine red, white and blue paint. The cane also shows a porcupine red and purple dyed quill worked long Indian tanned hide fringe that is 13"L. At the center of the piece is also a rosette medallion showing a "crazy" glass trade seed beaded design with a turkey feather drop. At the chest of the Indian carving shows a brass covered metal furniture tack. The piece measures overall 30.5"L.
