The rifle is marked in numerous spots, reading; "TRADE MARK - STEVENS - REG. U.S. PAT. OFF & FGN" on the right side of the barrel, ".25-R.F." on the left side of the barrel, and serial number "65461" on the lower tang. The rifle shows good condition overall, with an even plum purple patina on the blue'd finish, and nice walnut fixtures. The action is tight, and the bore shows good condition, with strong rifling.
