J. Stevens "Favorite" Model 1915 .22 Long Rifle

Here is an nice example of a J. Stevens Arms Co, "FAVORITE" model 1915 take down rifle. Chambered in 22 LR made in the early 20th Century out of West Hurley NY. The rifle is a single shot, with a lever activated falling block action. The barrel retains the original factory blue and is half octagon and half turned round along with a patina'd casehardened receiver. The sights have been upgraded to a Weaver V22-A scope. The butt stock is broken and chipped. Walnut fore grip and stock are in good shape showing normal handling wear. Serial number is D 741. Gun is classified as a Curio and Relic Long Gun and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
