Available in this lot for your consideration is an exceptional equestrian bronze sculpture, crafted by Jack W. Muir, out of Lakeside, Montana. The sculpture depicts three fantastically detailed stallions - each side by side, and each posed in a mid-stride gallop. The horses, along with their base show intricate detail in muscle tone, and proportioning. The sculpture sits atop a hefty granite block, which spins effortlessly on a rotating lazy Susan base. The front of the block shows a plaque reading; "Los Bandidos - J. W. Muir". The base of the sculpture itself is marked "Jack Muir - 13/36 - © 2010". Jack Muir is a born and raised, third generation Montanan - graduating with a degree of Fine Arts from Montana State University, Jack founded Kalispell Art Casting in 1978. Kalispell Art Casting is not only the home for Jacks beautiful creations, but also the casting place for other renowned artists such as; Sherry Salari Sander, Fred Fellows, Deborah Copenhaver Fellows, and Bob Scriver, among many other talented artists across the United States and Canada. This sculpture, "Los Bandidos" shows very good condition. The sculpture retailed new in 2010 at $13,600. The sculpture measures 26"x30"x27".
