Featured in this lot is an original Jack Webb's 101 Ranch Round-Up Admission Ticket circa 1940. This ticket features its original format and shows its original condition. The admission ticket is marked on the front as follows: Adult Bleacher Ticket - Jack Webb's - 101 Ranch Round-up - Sept. 15 or 16, 1940 - Adm....45c - Fed. Tax...05c - Total....50c. - No. 0545. Jack Webb’s 101 Ranch Round-Up was directly inspired by—and closely connected to—the Miller Bros.’ 101 Ranch Wild West Show, drawing on the fame, performers, and imagery of the original 101 Ranch enterprise. While the Miller brothers operated the large-scale traveling Wild West show in the early 1900s, showcasing cowboys, Native American performers, and rodeo-style acts, Webb’s 101 Ranch Round-Up functioned as a related offshoot that capitalized on the well-known “101 Ranch” brand. Both productions promoted a romanticized vision of the American West, often sharing similar acts, themes, and sometimes personnel, helping extend the cultural reach of the 101 Ranch beyond its Midwest touring circuit and reinforcing its place in popular Wild West entertainment. The condition of this admission ticket is well preserved with some discoloration to the corners of the ticket due to age but otherwise shows a well preserved overall condition. The measure measurements of this ticket are 3 1/2" x 2".*
