For your consideration is this large & RARE, 1990 limited edition hand painted Looney Tunes animation cel titled, "The Fanatic: Wile E. Coyote And Road Runner" hand signed by the master animator, Chuck Jones (1912-2002) in 1990 and produced by Warner Bros. This original cel has been authenticated at Gallery Lainzberg by Linda Rich and Linda Jones at Enterprises, Inc., and comes with a certification and info sheet on original limited edition cel paintings. This is a limited edition piece numbered 332 out of 750 and signed by the artist reading, "Chuck Jones". This animation cel shows Wile E. Coyote chasing Road Runner with his fork and knife in his hands, as the Road Runner leaves him in a could of dust. Scattered signs behind the Road Runner read, "A Fanatic / Is Someone / Who Redoubles / His Effort / When He Has / Forgotten His Aim / George Santayana". A small "warning" can be seen in the bottom right hand corner reading, "Warning: The Surgeon General Has Determined That Hunting Road Runners Is Dangerous To Your Health". The bottom left shows the limited edition number reading, "332 / 750", while the bottom right corner shows the artist signature reading, "Chuck Jones". The piece features the hand painted background plate and the hand painted animation cel set in front of the background plate. It has been triple matted. It is set in a black frame and sits behind glass to preserve its condition. The glass features a Sticker of Authenticity from Linda Jones at Enterprises, Inc., while the back holds the Certificate and animation cel info sheet. It shows good condition overall with no wear or damage noted to the cel or background plate.
